Edward Tsang Teaching Profile (BBA, MSc, PhD)

I started teaching at the University of Essex since 1984, when I was a graduate student. I was appointed a Lecturer by the Department of Computer Science in 1987. I am now a Reader.

I have taught the following subjects:

Programming languages, including Pascal, Modula 2, Prolog

Introduction to artificial intelligence, including search methods

Constraint satifaction, at final year and graduate level

Group Projects on expert systems and applied artificial intelligence

I am also familiar with C, C++ and Microsoft products, including Word and Excel.

I am currently supervising 7 PhD students and a few MSc projects.
